FBD Insurance predicts fusion, bets it will go horribly wrong

I love it when hard science shows up in the weirdest and most unpredictable places. So I was delighted to read the updated "radioactivity exclusion" clause FBD insurance have added into my home insurance policy and that they sent me earlier today.

They must know something the rest of us don't if they've gone to the bother of excluding damage caused by:

"any weapon or device employing atomic or nuclear fission and/or fusion". 

In south county Dublin? Those scientists at ITER must be working harder than we thought...
